The largest town in Ladakh is Leh. It is one of the few remaining places in South Asia where Buddhism is very strong. A majority of Ladakhis are Tibetan Buddhists and the rest are mostly Shia Muslims. Leh was an important stopover on trade routes along the Indus Valley between Tibet to the east, Kashmir to the west and also between India and China for centuries. The main goods carried were salt, grain, pashm or cashmere wool, charas or cannabis resin from the Tarim Basin, indigo, silk yarn and Banaras brocade.
In this Leh Ladakh Land 06 Nights / 07 Days package we will cover Leh, Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurdurawa, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River), Pangong Tso Lake, Changla Pass, Khardongla Top, Shey Palace, Hemis Monastery, Thiksay Monastery, 3 Idiot School, Nubra Valley, Diskit, Hunder, Sand Dunes.
